One thing stands out about country music: it tells us a story. Sometimes the story is happy and up lifting, such as when a country boy gets a new used Camero, and successfully modifies it in his father’s garage to travel at the speed of light. Other songs present us with a picture of utter sadness and desolation, such as when a country boy’s bloodhound is run over by a county-owned dump truck. And then, of course, there is this sad story. . .
