One Third

According to CNN, Hamas now estimates the number of casualties in the Gaza Strip around one thousand people; it is said that one third of these casualties are children. My question is, at what point did Hamas become concerned about the lives of children? Or, are they only concerned about the lives of Arab children?

We should probably ask the news media to define “children.” Does CNN or Hamas mean the first-graders who Arabs brainwash into chanting “Death to America,” or do we refer to the middle-school aged children who are carrying automatic weapons or throwing rocks at both Israeli and Palestinian Authority police officers?

Last, if Hamas is concerned about the lives of children, why do they continue to place children in harms way, or hide behind children at any time when extremist gunmen are taken under fire by the IDF?

Just asking . . .
